Trude Selnes kunstneriske objekter og designprodukter består hovedsakelig av sølv, gjerne med et innslag av andre materialer som f.eks glass, plast og silketrykk. Hun arbeider også i foto og mixed media. Kunsthåndverkeren er opptatt av at produktene skal inneha en teknisk god løsning og hun har et bevisst fokus på materialers egenart, ulike sammensetninger av formelementer og estetisk utforming.

Trude Selnes artistic objects and design products is mainly in
silver, but she also use other materials such as glass, plastic and printing in her objects. She works in photo and mixed media. The artist wants to produce products who has technically good solution and she has a conscious focus on the distinctive nature of materials. She also play with compositions of different form elements and she has a focus on the designproces.
